
Roger van den Bergh has been designing corporate identity programs since finishing his industrial design training in the Netherlands in 1971. He co-founded Onoma, LLC, an identity and media design firm, with Ileana Truneanu in 1998 and worked for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, North Fork Bank, Continental Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Midwest Airlines, LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae, Eos Airlines, Scios Biopharmaceuticals, Lightspeed Trading, Edgemont Capital Partners, The Joint Commission, Shleppers Moving and the Boeing Company. Current clients are Transportation Alternatives, Solar One, Mobius Battery Power, New Infrastructure Advisors, European University Institute, the Heart Institute of New York and The Port Authority of NY & NJ
He previously held senior creative positions at Allied International Designers, Landor Associates, Siegel & Gale, Anspach Grossman Portugal, and Chermayeff & Geismar, where he created and implemented programs for British Petroleum, USX Corporation, National Australia Bank, First National Bank of Southern Africa, Sonat Offshore Drilling, Conrad International Hotels and Banco de Bogota.
Van den Bergh’s work has been exhibited by the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the AIGA in New York, and the STA in Chicago. His work has also appeared in numerous magazines including Industrial Design, CA Magazine, Logo Lounge, and Aircraft Interiors International. He won several Red Dot Awards, both in the corporate identity and product design categories. In 2008 he was a member of the 2008 ReBrand 100 Jury. He holds a BA degree in graphic design from the Royal College of Art in Breda, the Netherlands. In addition, he studied industrial design at the Academy for Industrial Design (now the Design Academy) in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
